  • Celery...I have grown celery!!!!!

    Yea!!
I've actually grown really nice edible crunchy tasty celery. 12 thingys of it. (Heads?)
Quite big thingys with lovely healthy leaves and fab pale green stalks jumping to attention. Normally they've been weak weedy efforts that have succumbed to a slug onslaught tasting of nowt and bitter.

    But my celery : ...

Well done, I have never even managed to get the seed to germinate.

I just hope you like braised celery more than I do!

Well done on getting celery that's large enough to eat I gave up trying to grow it a few years ago and used the remaining seeds for micro greens.

                      It's very satisfying, isn't it?

I too managed some celery his year and with our too much slug attention. It's thin but highly flavoured.
                        Congratulations on your success
