  • A bit taken aback.

    Hi,

went down the lottie this afternoon. I normally go in the morning and stay all day on a Saturday but my daughter came over so hence went later.

Anyway, written in chalk on my (new) shed door was written and I quote "Please put your plot number on your plot!"

Well, there is and has been since I took the plot on 3 months ago today, a big log stood on its side with a No 1 in a chrome plate screwed to it. It is right at the entrance to my plot.

Part of me feels like adding a note asking the author to identify themselves so I can get them some glasses. The site convenor would know the log was there and so I'm quite bemused.

Whaaaat? Some people! And you're number one for heaven's sake, it's not as if they can have lost count.
This is a nice new shed is it? A bit of shed-envy here perhaps?

Is it part of your site rules? You've obviously fallen victim to the local allotment Stasi.

Must say I've never seen a plot with a number on it.

Having seen the photo I think I would rub off the chalk message from my shed, and replace it with "Should have gone to Specsavers"

Everything? I have visions of your little seedlings each having a number tag on it - hehe.

there are no new messages today, I'm going to ignore it and see what happens next!

I don't even know what number I am, I'm just the one on the left, nearest the road!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Some things are just sooo obvious our eyes just don't see it, like when you lose a pen, and its right in front of you all the time. However, I'd be really peeved if someone scrawled over my new shed in chalk, have they never heard of a pen and paper?
