I've never used it, so don't know if its any good or not, but I know of this website: GrowVeg.com - The Smart Way To Plan Your Garden (at £14.99 per year I need more convincing to try it out!)

mapcr77, the growveg.com website has a free 30 day trial, so you can try before you buy. I'm using that right now and I think I'll get the subscription. I'm one of those people who can't get the planning right the first or second and sometimes the third time! So having it so easy on the computer to move around is good for me.

I used paint box program and drew it on the computer as beds and paths and then saved it so all i have to do is print it off and draw with pencil where i plan to put things , easy to do and can be changed if it looks not to be working.
