  • Allotment clearing advice please

I have been digging over the raised beds on my new allotment and have quite a few manky leeks/onion/carrots - just wanted to check if it is ok to shove them in the compost or should I dispose of them in another way.

I know the carrots had carrot fly, the leeks and onions are just really soggy.

    Thanks in advance.

As long as they show no signs of desease, chuck them on the compost heap. It will all rot down and turn what was rubbish into useful compost.
It is the doom of man, that they forget.
