Thread: Grass path cutting - what are my options?

    I covered my paths with weed suppressant fabric, tucked down the edge of the bed a bit. This means that I can mound the soil up in the beds which improves the drainage. I still have to spot weed the membrane when dandelions force their way through but its significantly reduced the amount of work I have to do.

    the paths within my plot are just weed control fabric, which I sweep regularly .The grass paths between plots I cut with an old rotary petrol mower I recovered from a skip. try freecycle or freegle to source an unwanted mower you may be surprised by the response
