  • What could it be?

    I spotted this mysterious thing attached to the wood around my compost heap. I just can't work out what it could be, it looks like something has emerged...but what???

    It's the case of a Puss Moth larvae.

        Yuk, just don't let it attach itself to you.

        Is that puss as in pussycat or puss as in festering boil?

          Well the caterpillar looks like an alien...I hope I get to see one but don't think I'd fancy it attaching itself to me!!
