Not in the garden, but we do get them, so I cleaned the feeders and got them set up for the autumn and winter.

    Ours adore peanuts!
we have a feeder just outside our kitchen window.
They are really, really suspicioùs, but absolutely wonderful to watch feeding there.

Good prompt too to clean up all the feeders...thanks for that

It was a good day with some decent light for a change, this is Montrose Basin famous for the vast numbers of Pink Footed Geese.

I did the RSPB big bird watch thing... which lead me to realise we had dunnocks visiting. I'd always assumed they were fat sparrows...

Ours love suet and fat balls.

              Oh, and blue tit chicks

Also did the RSPB thing again this year. Recorded coal tits for the first time, but no sign of the usual hordes of long-tailed tits this year, not seen any in the garden at all this winter, must have been a bad year for them.
                Are y'oroight booy?

They'll go for sunflower hearts too but peanuts better.

Very very occasionally see green one on lawn but do hear them.

Anyone see pied wagtails in gardens? I've only seen them in car parks and around supermarkets.
