Do ants take flower seeds?

Hi I've just recently sown some clover seeds to be used as a green manure but also to attract the bees! I went to my allotment yesterday and saw ants all over the area and it made me wonder do they take seeds?? If this is the case my next question is how to deter them without resorting to killing them off?? TIA

The only seeds that I am aware of them taking are cyclamen, they are the way that the seeds are distributed.

I know they take grass and dandelion seeds.
