Hope it's not bad news for you today Headfry. I was listening to Farming Today on Saturday and they had a programme about bees you may be interested in BBC - Radio 4 - Farming Today.

Thank you all so much.
I am really very worried, it feels like I am to sit a huge exam tonight, butterflies or what!
6pm tonight- if all goes ok and inspector can still make it.
Weather is being kind, phew thats a relief.
Thank you once again, you have really kept me going. I know I am very silly over my bees, thats just me I'm afraid. Sorry

You are not at all silly.

I can spend ages watching bees too - but only if they are in one of those special hives where you are watching through glass. There is a lovely restaurant in Holland where you can watch the bees coming and going - they have a special exit and entry point out of the way of the public. I spent the best part of a day watching them when we were at a car show there a few years ago.

Not silly in the slightest Headfry, I think it's great.

I stood gawking like a fool for ages yesterday watching a wasp building a nest in my shed. I felt really guilty when I knocked it down - it was so intricate.

Later in the day we were sat outside and I saw the same wasp flying back into the shed (it squeezed through the gap at the top of the door), so no doubt I'll see another one tonight.

I think it's cool what you're doing for what it's worth.
