Default Gardening for wildlife - blogs or forums

Hello all,

A good friend of mine has recently moved house and would like to make her fair acre into a wildlife garden - native planting, encouraging wildlife etc. She's read lots of books and is reasonably well up on what to do but would value an equivalent to what we have here - a sort of wildlife forum, but entirely devoted to the subject. Either that, or recommendations for some good blogs she could keep up with.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Google.

No really, pick a particular topic that interests her, look for it on google.co.uk and see what sort of sites are found. When I've googled for info on certain types of wildlife its often thrown up interesting forums and such-like....can't remember them now unfortunately.

Thanks SBP - I suspect she's done that - inveterate googler! She might be wanting something more general. I'll mention it though, ta.

I think on blogger you can search for specific topics/subjects. I've certainly seen some similar blogs to those which your pal seeks.

Does she have a blog herself?

Edit: You can search blogs specifically here: Google Blog Search

Found this within it: Go Wild In The Garden - Wildlife and Environment Forums
