Two swallows over the house this evening .
Anyone else seen them yet ???

We've had plovers, then curlews, then sand pipers... Loads of gay pheasants

My garage (barn) swallows are back - hope they dont fly into the new verandah glass...have found a dead robin and balckbird which i suspect just flew into the glass....

First Swallow arrived about 10 mins ago. Think it might be one of the ones who nested in the Cow Shed as it was showing interest in the doors!!!

Must be summer in Derby then! (2 swallows)
But not in Oxfordshire (1 swallow doesn't make a summer!)
No swallows round here yet but O.H. did think he saw one of our bats last night.

Two swallows in Devon on Thursday."Summer's here" I said to my grandson only for it to pour with freezing rain until today,when I have a strong feeling that winter is gone!!

Saw 6 or 7 over the allotment (we are next to a large stream) first time last week.

No swallows in "sunny" Kent but there were loads of butterflies out on Sunday ( I think they got drowned today)
