  • An observation ....

I've noticed a couple of times that a huge big bumble bee visiting my broad beans has turned its nose up at the Suttons and has instead buried itself in the Crimson flow'd ones. Is it the colour or the scent ?

Thats a bumble bee with taste methinks!

Could it not have been that the pollen was just at the right stage of ripeness on the crimson flowered rather than the colour differential?

    Just a thought!
