    Frames and foundation

    We're looking at where to get extra frames and foundation from...

    Our local beekeeper 'shop' sells foundations for
    super for 4.84 for 10
    brood 7.94 for 10

    frames dn5/sn5 for 9.50 for 10
    (with knots it says)

    Anywhere cheaper?

    Hi, sounds like a good price to me esp as it's local too. I usually get my frames from Paynes. In December they have a huge sale and I buy frames then, they are generally quite knotty but have not caused any problems so far. Saying that though - you do have delivery costs on top of that.

      The frames with knots are generally seconds and are about a third cheaper than first quality. The bees don't mind and it's all I ever buy. The price is reasonable too
