    Hi wonder if anyone has any knowledge of these bee suppliers, saw an advert for them and was a bit confused that every year you have to buy a new set of bees. Do the larvae not continue to live there once hatched. Any info would be appreciated just wonder if they are worth buying thanks

    The colony does die out each year and needs to be replaced, the lodge / hive is of course re-usable.

    I've tried them twice and have given up because of wax moth invasions on both occasions (although I do believe the lodge design has been improved to combat that now)
    The cats' valet.

      Umm I thought the new queen might stay. Seems quite an expensive thing to buy every year at £75
