  • White leaves on my Japonica Pleniflora

    I planted it out as reccomended two weeks ago in a sunny position, now leaves are turning white and shrivelling any ideas and cures please

    sounds like cold damage. where had it been before? did it get hardened off before being put outside?

      It was on kitchen window sill, anh I did not realise it needed to be hardened off

        If you mean this BBC - Gardening: Plant Finder - Kerria
        its pretty tough. I'm sure it will shoot back from the roots. Mines flowering and suckering all over the place at the moment.

          Yep, anything that's spent its life indoors needs to be gradually hardened off before being put in the cold, windy outdoors
