        They're all right

        It's petty spurge (a euphorbia)

            Hi there, Chris,

I was recently reading through the book, "Field guide to wild flowers of Britain" Readers digest. The petty spurge, Euphorbia peplus is indeed a common weed of waste or cultivated land, like the more showy Euphorbia of gardens it contains the irritating milky sap, so gloves are advised when handling.

BUT, before you remove them all, consider this interesting fact, one which has made me consider potting on a few plants and placing them in my green house and around my yard. The key pollinators are the parasitic Ichneumon wasps.

            Bio-control for free?

sit down and read the silent spring.

Thanks, I'm all for natural/biological pest control but it was a while ago - they were pulled up and (hopefully) composted

Doesn't seem to be any more growing (yet) this year though.
