small pussy willow tree

i have a small pussy willow tree in my garden and it is covered in what looks like bright yellow pollen on the leaves which does not moved when rubbed with fingers i cannot see any bugs or insects about so has anyone any thoughts or explanations and should i be worried about this. this is the trees 2nd season and it has put on lots of growth and had lots of catkins during the winter thanks

You planted (paid!) for the thing??....blimey. Personally consider them a quite tenacious weed.

Think you might be right....pollen.

I will have a look at the one on the lottie headland to compare for you though.
