| This year my plums were infested with little white worms. I have bought some greasebands but it says on the box they should be put on in autumn. Does that mean I am already too late? Is there anything else I should be doing to get rid of these. I have taken all the old fruit off the trees but I have read that I shouldn't prune till spring. Will pruning help or just make things worse? Please help I am really missing my plm jam this year!!!

the male moth flies so a trap hung up near to the trees is reccommended too.
