Pest identification

I have been digging up so potatoes yesterday, some (all the dig ones) had little holes in when I cut in to them there was "tunnels" as you can see in the picture. What could it be?

Greedy, selfish slugs. They could have just gnawed the edges and you'd have both had a meal off of them.

While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.
