  • Do you recognise this purple spurgy flowery weedy thing?

I actually quite like it just a shame it is in the wrong place. It is only about 15cm tall.

    Any ideas?

I have it in the garden too. Self seeds in all sorts of cracks - and comes in various shades of mauvey white/pink. Think the bees like it too

Norfolkgrey - I've got lots of purple toadflax, the bees love it. It seeds itself very easily, though isn't too invasive.
If you want to move it, I've found it's very tolerant of being transplanted at any time of year. Cut it down to around 3-4 inches and transplant anywhere (it seems to do well in sun or shade). It can grow to around 4 foot, so is good at the back of borders or against fences.
