Default Can old fertiliser be used? and I mean OLD

I have various different bottles and tubs in the shed which were bought years ago. Some of it is organic and some of it is chemical (slow release pellets etc) feed.

I'm not sure whether to chug the lot of it or try and use it up? Any takers ?

Nothing to lose by trying I'd say. You could just use t on stuff that isn't too important to you?? It might have lost some of its 'oomph' (haven't we all) but I can't see that it would be a negative if you used it.
Having aid that, I'm not an agro-chemist - I'm sure one will be along in a bit...

I would use it as per the original instructions. It's not going to kill anything, if plants start to look hungry despite the feeding then I'd buy fresh stuff at that point.

Are they sealed? I had a Similar thing with Weed killer. Took a lot more to kill than new stuff and I'm still waiting to see if it's killed the roots. Use it just be prepare it might be a lot weaker now.

This is the over-wintering garlic I'd like to feed. Not really sure whether the yellowing is caused from the dryness or weather it's a lack of nitrogen.

A bag of sulphate of ammonia or similar nitro feed is cheap as chips to buy. Use the liquid fertiliser as an activator on your compost heap.
