Default Brussel Sprouts and Cabbage White

I have run out of enviromesh and have had to plant my brussels out in the open. Will they still be subject to Cabbage White laying eggs or do they just restrict themselves to Cabbages, Broccoli and Calabrese?

There is no sign of any damage yet, but it has been dreadfully cold these last three weeks so they may not be on the move yet.

I'm afraid the CBW will devour them.

I would have thought they would be susceptible as they are brassicas too. Do you have any old net curtains you could use to cover them?
