Default ***WARNING*** Frost...AHHHH!

Just been out with the dog and we have had a frost overnight!

I should have known when I saw the halo round the full moon last night!

Must get to the lottie tonight and check on my outdoor tomatoes and runner beans as it doesn't bode well for a reasonable crop

I can probably cover my tomatoes but can't put up a nine foot wall of polythene for my beans

I don't recall having frosts in early September in the past?

see what you mean, just been to let the girls out and could see my breath. and its suposed to be summer!
when i was a kid we used to get snow in may, and september but we were 15000 ft above sea leval.
it has been a funny year, should be better tonight as its sunny today, apparently.

Gosh, had a dew again and it was very clear last night. Forcast was minimum 7 degrees C down here but wouldn't have expected frosts in Sussex

I picked some tomatoes and runners before I came to work this morning and my hands hurt where everything was so cold!

We had a very heavy dew here this morning - I was very surprised. It feels like winter is on the way (in the evenings at least)

Earthbabe....I know I know! It's a bit funny down here. Depends on exactly where you live as to what you get. We're on a hill, so bit exposed but I didn't expect frost.
Still...the windscreens don't lie!
