Default Last frosts in the Midlands

Any Midland sprouts out there, when typically do you think danger of frosts have past?? This is year 1 in veg for me and I dont want to kill things. Want to put out sweetcorn,Piglets Carnival squash and some beans for a 3 sisters bed.

Any advice gratefully received.
Sam

I am in South West Herefordshire and I reckon on early May to be last spring frost - saying that I have had my dwarf and runner beans, borlotto beans out for about 2 weeks and sweetcorn about a week. If you go here you can set it to your nearest town to get a rough idea for your area http://www.gardenaction.co.uk/main/weather1.asp
