we got horse tail as well and we dubble dug all you can do is pull it and yes that dreadfull sound SNAP! you can almose hear it laghing at you
the outher thng you can do is galosaphate put some on a desposable glove and whipe in on the horsetail and leave that way it wont go on your veg or you could use the top part of a pop bottle and put that over the horsetail and spary down the hole
