Much cooler today. Rain threatening. Have heard that people are paying the priest to pray for rain.

Default Still sunny

Someone said that our last rain was 17th May.

Bit cooler today, under 100.

Who is Denis Howell?

And incase a MOD looks at this, how does one contact them?
I put a bit on another thread but it didn't appear. I wondered why.

I couldn't cope in that sort of heat!! I'd melt! It's just nice here at the moment, hovering around 15 - 17C.

Send Lesley Jay a PM if you want to contact her, or any of the Mods for that matter - if you click on their name on one of their posts then you should get a menu box, the second in the list is "send a personal message to... [whoever]" - click on that and the rest will follow!

Minister apointed during 1976,(one of the driest on record) a day or so after being apointed the weather broke (it p****d it down)
Maybee a rain minister might do the opposite?

Default Rain

It has bucketed down here today; lightning flashing and thunder cracking; streets were like rivers.
Temperature way down but it was all over in about 20 mins. Then it became warm again.
My house is in process of having a new roof and we had a little ingress of water but no real problem.
