Is that 'dirty weekends' because of the gardening, or is there another reason?

Do put your 'pin' on the Grapes Map tootles

Sorry...but yesterday we had temperatures of 19 c.(after an overnight frost).

today it is raining.
which means the river might flood..
You live in South West France and are expecting sympathy?

tootles,
I travelled over from Gloucestershire in England to stay with the lovely scared55 & scarey55 back end of October last year, and Keith drove us two 'knitting tarts' down to that very bridge, as we all listened to some very well-respected bloke trying to teach us and a bloke and a woman French on the car CD player (see scarey & wellie knit each other to sleep). The Bridge was just the most amazing thing I've ever seen (see The Scarey's Blog for pictures). Wow - truly amazing bridge...... and absolutely breathtaking views, wasn't it?!? X

and the weather forecast for today is very wet and very wet, warm and very wet and warmer and very wet - and about time too, the weather here has been so good lately - a month of warm, uninterupted clear skies etc, the farmers and serious gardeners have been praying for rain.

Grey and overcast here this morning but hey ho, it's still SW France
