Default Rain

We are some of the very lucky ones, I feel so very sorry for all those that have suffered from the flooding. Our hearts go out to you all.

I am gutted.
Next year we grow rice! Fortunately the beans and root veg are still alive so all is not completely lost (yet).

Default July...? Prove it.

Had 2.5 inches of rain Friday evening, followed by power cut for several hours in the night, had to listed to an empty house burglar alarm throughout the night till early Sat Am.

Quite cool now, with sunny spells, very soggy lawn.
Just had another weather warning on TV for North Midlands.

Been warm and sunny last few weeks, cool dewy starts clearing to bright warm days.

No rain for ages, how ironic after this summer. Ground cracking up quite a bit now.

Default Autumn is here.

Trees have started to turn pretty colours. Fungi sprouting up everwhere. Rain butts are a bit empty though.

Default Weather, sept.

Rain butts now overfull. Had a hint of one of those tornado's yesterday morning. Think they are called squally showers, where the rain comes horizontal with high winds.

Had to check still had greenhouse, and that it was still in the garden afterwards.

Became very sunny and warm.

Today, showers which caused the temp to really drop. Sunny but quite cold now. So I am pleased to announce the heating is now on. <toastie>
