From being officially snowed in on Friday night here, it started to warm up a bit yesterday, and then it rained last night. It was really quite mild here today, and for part of the day at least, we saw the sun.
All the snow has melted now, and it will be good to 'get back to normal'.....
(earning a crust!)

Today started fairly mild, and by lunchtime, was blowing something fierce. It was reasonably dry all day though, and out of the wind was 8 or 9 degrees.

Definitely snorkel and flippers today !
I inadvertantly left Grown-Up-Girls Greenhouse doors open for a while today, and caught my cat using the newly filled borders as her very own private 'out of the rain' undercover toilet...! No pocketmoney for HER this week!...
It has been chucking it down all day, and still tipping it down now.

I ventured out towards Monmouth today, and got completely stopped in my tracks at a little village called Redbrook, on the way down to the road that leads from Chepstow to Monmouth. With all the cars 'flashing me' as they came towards me, I knew I was facing a hazzard, and drivers in The Forest are so good at 'warning you' of anything ahead (!) that you instinctively know when to heed their warnings.
Yup! They were pushing cars out of the flood rather than driving them out, and having had a problem with my car last week, I wasn't about to have another problem this week, so turned around.
No necessity to go there, no necessity to wreck your vehicle. Sorted.!
Previous trucks, i'd of waded through. This road, I knew how deep that puddle was !! Why do so many blokes think they can get through that puddle?! Beats me....!
Conversley, and foreigners do wonder why us Brits talk about the weather so much.... it was absolutely GORGEOUS here today, and tomorrow is looking like s.i.e again.....

fantastic day yesterday warm and sunny, today on my travels rain, then snow and back to rain. all in the space of 50 miles, but it might be sunny again tomorrow!

Warm today, sun came out this afternoon. Then about 6ish, 20 drops of rain. Little breeze now but very warm still. Greenhouse is 18...
