The last few days have been really lovely. Lots of sunshine although there is still a nip in the air at times.

A really lovely day today. Got into my herbacious border and spent all afternoon cutting back the coteneaster and thinning out and weeding all that was overgrown. Great to be able to spend so much time outdoors as the evenings are so much brighter now.

Weather has turned wintery again since yesterday. Very cold today with freezing showers of hail.

Weather here sunny with a freezing cold easterly wind. Has been like this for the last few days. Plenty of bright sunshine though.
All my plants still in the conservatory as its still too cold to leave them in the cold greenhouse overnight.

Weather is still sunny and bright but still a chill in the wind which is a north easterly. Long bright evenings for the gardening is a bonus.

Well, can't believe its the middle of April and still no rain. Don't think it rained for the past month. The last week saw temps reaching 22deg here on the coast. Great still but a little cooler.

Rain, Hail and thunder and this is the end of May. My toms which I had to put out in the first week of May are a sad sight to behold.

Saturday and Sunday6 (our Whit bank holiday), a complete washout. So much rain fell some places were flooded. Monday morning and more of the same. Beginning to pick up now that the weekend is over.

One week ago we had a scorching week of sunshine. The last few days have been cold rainy and windy, it feels like Autumn.

Harvested my garlic and onions today. Onions are really big but about three quarters went to seed this year. garlic a little on the small side but lovely fresh flavour.
Weather cold and miserable. Overcast with just a little sunshine. It was so cold last night we put on the central heating.

Well what can I say about the weather. Rain, rain and more rain. Grey skies, them well below average and my tomatoes just waiting to ripen. So fed up looking at them all green and no sun.

It rained the whole day. Grey skies, rain and wind. Total misery. Is there any end to this weather. Tonight its blowing a real gale. So much for summer with the forecast saying more of the same on the way.

Miracle of miracles - there is some sunshine outside my office window right now. But it has lashed rain both of the last 2 nights and we can already feel a chill in the air. It was too wet over the weekend to get to the lottie.

A lovely sunny day today. Have to say there is a distinct feeling of autumn in the air.

Still sunny today, but a distinct chill in the air this morning - needed the jacket and wearing a jumper in work. Nice and dry though....

Sunny morning, but the ground was wet on waking (good news for the cabbage plants!!). Forecast is for staying fine and reaching 18 degrees - was quite pleasant walking around an hour ago.

Yesterday Sat. 15th was the most beautiful day. Hotter than a lot of the days in summer.
Well the weather changed today. Rain, wind and the temp is down. I think this is the end of our indian summer.

Quite a distinct chill in the air this morning. Going to hit 14 today, but down to 1-6 degrees tonight due to the clear skies.

Clear skies this morning, although there is a threat of showers later - no sign of them yet. Quite calm though, and any breeze is coming from the cold North!!

Sun peeping between the clouds, not quite as chilly as yesterday. We had rain overnight and it's due again later, but dry at present. Mid teens temps.

It has dried up in the city centre if that's any consolation! Full cloud, but the mirrored windows across from me are not the totally grey colour of winter but slightly yellow of sun trying to peep through....
