  • Are your chillis still small?

After viewing Lainey Lous wonderful pics, I'm a bit paranoid. My chillis and peppers are all healthy, but still really titchy. Anyone else have small chillis?

    Yes, me.

They're outside in the little growhouse - I'm thinking of taking one or two (of five) in at night to see if they'll romp like Lainey Lou's in the pictures.

My tallest sown this year is about 6 inches tall, but has it's first flowerbud forming now.

It's not the size, it's the punch it will eventually give you!

My one from last year which was cut right down still has no flowers but quite a few new leaves.

Don't worry, it's still only early May.

My Chillis are still small and after seeing BarleySugar's Purple Jalapenos I've got a bad case of Chilli Envy. Where are Lainey Lou's pics?

Yup - Tiny chilis for me too, maybe 2inches tall, and probably 6 weeks old! But they've been suffering from alternate chilling and frying in my poly grow house outside!!

Actually, it was Barley Sugar's photos I'd seen - I can't even get the name right!

But Chilli Envy - yeah, I think I've got it too.
