Don't like Growbags. I use Morrisons flower buckets, preferably no peat in the compost used to fill them though.Comment

Me I go against the grain, until some body comes up with a decent peat free compost then I will continue to use peat in.
Not in growbags though hate the things.

I've used growbags for many years but have finally given up on them for the silliest reason. At the end of the season I take the used growbags up to the allotment to fill a raised bed I use for carrots and move round each year. What a faff! They are so difficult to handle. Now I use big pots which are much easier.
I also gave up as they are tricky to water just right too and I use weight as a guide in pots. As far as compost goes I use the New Horizon Multipurpose and get pretty good results from it.
As far as the peat v peat free debate goes it is one that will run and run (or grow and grow!!) You'll have to decide for yourself.Comment

Now I do use growbags (when I'm growing) and for two reasons;
1: They're easier to carry and transport than a big bag or bale of compost.
2: They usually contain a finer compost than the bigger bags/bales, which, in my (limited) experience, seem to be full of twigs, stones, wire, plastic and all manner of un-seivable and unusable lumps.
