I ran it backwards after posting ^^^ & found .........

Cause The Alfalfa mosaic virus is carried in tubers, but aphids can transmit it from alfalfa plants to potato plants by feeding first on infected plants and then probing noninfected plants. Nearby alfalfa fields or volunteer infected alfalfa plants in potato fields can be a source of inoculum.

Symptoms Large, irregular, yellow to cream-color spots appear on leaves. Tubers may show internal brown necrotic areas.

Cultural control The disease generally is not a problem that warrants special controls.

Sorry Bexy, no idea. Apart from the yellow bits they are looking healthy. You haven't splashed them with fertiliser by any chance?

No No splashes of fertiliser .... do you think it could be them dieing off because they are gettin ready for harvest ? or could it be the Mosaic Disease?

Seems like it could be one of two things. The first being simple frost damage but in the weather lately i doubt that's unlikely unless it got hit before and you didn't notice.

The second and a bit more worrying is the early signs of mosaic virus. Have you noticed aphids on or around your plants? or do you smoke at all and touch your plants with out washing your hands?
Fingers crossed it isn't this and cut off the leaves and burn or bin them just to make sure!

Why don't you cut off the yellowing leaves and burn them and see what happens to the rest of the plant?
