    I bought 2 packets of seeds last year and also have a massive bag from the supermarket. going to soak some today for just a hour or so and plant up in peat pots. Apparently they are frost tolerant so do not see a problem in the UK with them.

    I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

    I might have a go at this, I love chickpeas. Although they are not expensive to buy, I'm sure they'll taste better knowing I've grown them.

          Sorry brownie but give it a go with the asparagus pea, but it taste like you are spraying perfume in your mouth. Very pretty flowers though

            I grow them most years , more for the plant than the crop. I tend to start them of by soaking overnight they seem to germinate overnight. I just use dried ones from the indian shops. Always disappointed with the crop but fun to grow and pretty to look at
