Tempting! (I don't mean JW). Wasn't there someone on here who always dreamt of crossing a potato and a tomato -- or am I dreaming too!
I might try it. It'll have to be a 2nd early and a Gardener's Delight as I have lots of those spare! -

Not something I'd bother with, I grow spuds outside for the tubers and tomatoes under cover for the fruits, have the space to do this and would have thought that the two requirements would conflict.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Been there, done that, got the tee shirt to prove it!
I did it about 20 years ago as an experiment.
Anyone remember tomtaters that used to be sold? They were just spuds grafted onto toms. If they can do it sez I, so can i!
Dead easy, just use raffia to tie the graft and bobs your uncle!

I'm sure it would - so a smallish tomato ought to have more chance than one of the big boys. And, I suppose, a smallish potato would also have a better chance. Since I can only manage pitiful crops of both anyway I could be lucky!
One problem for me would be where to grow it. Pots I'd grow outside but toms in the GH.Comment
