Yeah, I'm gonna get some Arran Pilot's again this year as they were lovely last year. Wasn't struck on Edzell Blue's though. Might try some Rocket potatoes this year too.

I love Arran Pilot too - but I don't rate Rocket - no flavour and iffy texture - but we are all different in our preferences!

            Normally grow Charlottes no problem.
Tried rocket for a change last year.
They seemed to be very susptable to wire worm, full of holes.
Most of a very nice crop was wasted.
Wife didn;t like tase of what we did get.
Back to charlotte if I can get some.

Depends how many you want. Wilkos yet again are top value. I got Charlotte, Nicola and Pink Fir Apple, 5 in a bag for 97 pence per bag.

Just got my Aran pilots (they're under my desk at work, right now, tee hee!). After the disaster last year (frost got them in the shed and 99% of the APs went squidgy) I'm very much looking forward to them this year!!

You get 3kg of seed spuds in Wilkos, whereas in B&Q they are 2kg for the same price.

I've got some Charlotte spuds from B & Q, it was recommended as last year after, (our first year on the plot), it was awful, holes in them everywhere, so apart from these, could someone rcommend a good diseased resistant one that is good tasting, preferrable early ones. Ta.
