Has water been splashed on the leaves in bright sunshine. I would suggest the leaves have been scorched. Pick them off if they bother you and there aren't too many. If you get more of a tunnelling effect then that's a leaf miner.

Is it just one or two leaves or pretty general?

The leaves might have been scorched but not from having water on the leaves as i always water at the base (plus i water in the evening)

Its just a couple of leaves on a couple of plants - not widespread
