white mould on tomato stalks

Hi all,
Just got back from my OH for the wknd and noticed that some of her toms (gardeners delight) have a white mould on the stalk,any ideas what has caused this or if the fruit will be ok as the plants are heavily set with fruit!!!

Just guessing without a pic but grey mould in usually botrytis. Cut away the diseased areas and if their in a GH increase the ventilation
