Most of the summer ballhead cabbages are what we know as white cabbage. I have grown Primo (Golden Acre Primo to be precise) for the last two years and it has performed admirably - in fact I am still picking them for my veg boxes though some are starting to look a bit worse for wear now that the season is drawing to a close - never mind, my savoys and winter cabbages are waiting in the wings.

I've grown a small one this year called Minicole, it's just the right size for us to use up in one or 2 meals, and makes great coleslaw too

Like the look/sound of Minicole, but wow they are expensive seeds
