Default where to top off tomatoes

i have some of the grafted turbo toms in greenhouse and its like the day of the triffids.they are already at roof and i want to top off but dont want to lose that last truss so how close to it can i top off.if i top off just above last truss will i lose it.

I think the procedure is to top off 2 leaves above the last truss you want.

I'm working on leaving them until they are too tall to manage in the greenhouse, or one month before the first frost is expected. As an experiment this year I am going to stop a few plants at the end of June, July and August and see how they compare.
