I have just acquired some good wood which will make me a cold frame about 10ft by 4ft, also some twin wall polycarb.
My garden is south facing(slightly east of south). The bulk gets sun most of the day but the east side has sun from late morning to sunset, the west has sun early morning to mid afternoon. I have a small section at the top with two conifer trees which is in the shade till late afternoon. Where would be the best place for a cold frame? The most convenient would be behind the trees as it's nearest the house but does it really need more sun?
