  • When to repot my toms?

I have 5 Harbinger toms at 6 to 8 inches in 3 inch pots in my green house. I was waiting until I could see clear signs of a rootball through the drainage holes in the bottom of each pot before potting up and possibly moving outside. Should I do this AND what size pot should I repot to?

You can prob take it out and have a look after watering to see if it needs potting on. I do this all the time and if not just put them back - one sharp tap while holding the plant firmly and you can have a look. If the roots are congested or wrapping round the ball then pot on, if just a few roots then wait a bit.

I would go for a 5 inch pot next and not put them straight into a big one but some others will tell you different I am sure.

Pot on into a slightly bigger pot each time.
Mine are growing so fast that I am repotting them every fortnight now
