Following on from my thoughts about what to plant in the runner bean section once they're down...I've got kale seedlings and PSB seedlings. It says to plant them out when they are 10 cm high - but the runner section won't be free until October. Dilemma!
Do I put the kale and PSB in pots and not plant out til October (and can I do that?), do I try to find somewhere else to put them, or do I sit down and cry into my tea?
Oh, and my runner beans (Red Knight) already have buds on them..so I'm thinking they might be a bit early (one has almost reached the top of the canes - 8 foot ones)..does this mean they'll die off/need to be chopped down before October?
