  • What's on your Christmas list?

I've asked for a cold frame, a wormery and a dibber. I think I'll probably get the dibber.

I'm just hoping I don't get another book on growing veg from a well meaning rellie. I have a stack already and they all seem to contradict each other.

A copper spade would be nice but in times such as these I will settle for just seeing the kids get their's.

Apparently I want either a hammer drill or a hydraulic drill

          Bung 'em on eBay!

I've been told I can have a pair of Doobs!!!! As my 2nd hand pair are looking tatty now, and I've started riding in them because they are warm. However, I would feel guilty, as they are a stupid price, so we'll see.

          Doobs!

I really would like a small polytunnel for my garden allotment. Chances of that happening are small, so will be happy with the Take That DVD lol.

What would really make my year would be an lottie but know i have to wait another 2 years or so... boo
              Happy Christmas everyone x

Know what you mean about the gardening books Nik. I have several from well meaning relatives who really can't have noticed that I mostly grow vegetables. I'm really not fussed about what I get, but I love giving to others.

I've said I'll buy what I'd like (but am putting ze money into a spare bank account) - we're not really buying each other presents this year. I'd like a wormery, dehydrator, etc - but I don't need them, and as I'm going to be knocking through a wall in the new year I figure that the money I'd spend on those two above things could be better used put towards this work!

Apparently, Santa is bringing me a pair of vintage, original 1928 RolCut Secateurs - but I'm not supposed to know.
