  • What are you planting today?

    Hi folks,

I thought this would be a usefull thread for people to see what other people are planting and when.
As a relative newby i know i'd find it useful especially as i'm hopeing to get an allotment very soon, but as it's mid season what should i be planting?

    So to start off,

Today i shall mostly be planting some beetroot, detroit, for succession and and maybe some more salad greens.

    So how about you?

afternoon all. i am now working on damage limitation. beans went in too early so frostbitten, beetroots are sulkily making an appearance now. my mini plastic greenhouse blew away in the high winds so courgette plants look like they're cold, tired and sad looking, carrots are coming up well but hey-ho, sure the dratted carrot fly with get em. maybe i should be writing this on the grumpy old gits group ;¬)

Yes Twosheds and a little bit no,
I was hopeing that this might be more focused on what people can get away with putting in the ground now, rather than 'whole plot' jobs etc. It does cover some of the same ground to be sure, and if it don't work then as a thread it will go the way of the doedoes, but probably be less tasty.
But if anyone is interested bring it on.

I also failed to plant today, despite my earlier plans due to the rain, but we'll see what tomorrow brings.
