  • What is wrong with my spuds?

Is this a deficiency or disease like blight or something else?

It is only affecting about 25% of my first earliest at the moment. Rest are fine?

They are in ground that hasn't had spuds for years and had a good sprinkle of fertiliser earlier on the season.

    Dean.

If they are first earlies Dean, they may have just run their course and are ready for lifting. When did you plant them?

I agree with Mally. It looks like just natural dieback. If they're first earlies you can be thinking about harvesting now.
