    What is happening to my tom seedlings???

    Hi I am new to this forum and desperately need the help of some more experienced gardeners.
    My problem is that my tomatoes (grown in a greenhouse) have been transplanted as there were to many in one pot, now the ones that I moved on are flourishing however the ones that were not even disturbed have stopped growing and the leaves just seem to point straight up in the air!!!!
    Any advice or help would be much appreciated,

    Welcome to the vine.
    Can you post some pictures of your toms to help folks identify the problem.
    How long have your tomatoes been in their pots? Maybe they would benefit from also being transplanted as they may have used all the nutrition in the soil they're in.

      It may not be anything to worry about. I brought mine in from the greenhouse last night, into the kitchen, and many of them did the same. Leaves pointing to the air, in a "reach for the sky!" fashion. They're fine now.

        will try to get some pics up soon....they have been in there pots about 3-4 weeks now.

          Mine have done it again this evening. I have no idea why, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

              Mine look the same in the evening when it's getting colder.It was about 10 degrees C last night,this morning-down to 0.5 degrees.Maybe that's their way to protect the growing tip of the plant-curl up the leaves?

                My little ones do that at night too. I assumed it was a reaction to the dark, like the bean leaves, which all fold down at night.
                The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

                            I would pot them on and get them in more nutritious compost.

                              From the reddening of the leaves I'd say they've got a bit cold.
