Sorry to disappoint you but I would say that strawberries are the only ones on your list that are perennial . You can save seeds from the others and resow in the spring.........

I'm afraid pumpkins don't come back year after year- they're killed by frost.

It's possible to overwinter peppers and tomatos in a heated area- but again, they're not frost hardy. None of your plants but the strawberries will stay outside and fruit again next year.

But you can grow them all next year. And produce more strawberries from the runners they will be sending out.

        Isn't it fun.........

        Loving my allotment!

Overwintering is basically just keeping your plants alive through the winter! They're usually dormant through the cold weather and start to grow again when the days get longer and warmer.

Not in the UK they ain't ~ the first frost kills them dead

If you wait another month or so, dedus, the strawberry plants will die back and you can plant them outside where you want them to live and fruit.
overwintering means keeping a plant somewhere protected and warm (ie people sometimes overwinter chilli plants) over the winter and then bring them back out in the spring next year.

Alot of herbs are perenniel, if thats any help?

They won't even last until the winter. Plants need light to grow. Not only is your outhouse going to be too dark, but the days are soon going to be too short and too dark.

Plants react to shortening days by going dormant and dropping their leaves: annuals, like pumpkins, don't go dormant they just set fruit, set seed and die, all in the one year.
