    What do you think ...

    Hi all, lovin the vine with lots of tips and advice but i need just a bit moe pls 😃

    Can slugs/snails etc get into the greenhouse? My gh is only 6x4 with the door on the 6' side. I keep the door open permanently now the weather is warmer as i have a beaded curtain up which stops birds and flies etc. there is a sharp lip in the doorway which i dont think they can slide over but dont want to lulled into a false sense of security only to find everything wiped out over night coz they have slithered in somewhere.

    Should i be pinching the flowers off that are starting to grow on my potato plants?

    Slugs and snails get everywhere, even in your greenhouse!!!
    I've never pinched out potato flowers and I'm not sure that it would make much difference to the size of your spuds

      Slugs cunning little critters and can and will get anywhere they can feed.
      attack em at every opportunity with tha sharp stick of knife.... they don't like it up em

      Flowers on tatties indicate that the tubers are swelling. have a furtle round with your fingers and see if any are ready for the pot.
      keep em well watered whist tubers are swelling.
