What do I do with broccoli seedlings?

Hi, I planted purple sprouting broccoli and the seedlings are about 4 to 6 inches tall now. But they look rather tall and spindley - do I need to do anything to them? - My iceberg lettuce has gone the same way.

Sorry - bit of a novice in this area!
